Well here is my 2 cents on the food first. Lets go item by item before chit chat. The bread. Woow not very many places serve up unlimited bread and butter. It warm fresh and very tasty. You must restrain self from chowing down on too much. Leave some so you can soak up the juices from the steak. I ordered the 11 oz. rib eye steak. It came on a heated plate cooked to my specification of medium rare. Thumbs up to the cook. Though, I was not very happy with how it was cooked. The quality and size were what I expected. It was good. I thought it tasted like it came from my iron skillet. I am a excellent cook in my own right. BUT When I go out I am looking/ tasting for something I do not make or have the time or skills to properly make myself. What I was expecting I am not sure. Just not this.. I ordered the side of fresh green beans. The were very fresh. They were crispy. BUT I thought, at least for me they were much too crispy. When I pointed this out to my server, his response was this is how they prepare it here. Ok healthy veggies for all. Now some chic chat. I was seated quickly and my server,Shane, was quite attentive. I thought it took too long for my order. 20 minutes. Yes I timed it. It was only a medium rare steak and veggies. It was 1130 AM or so and not too many customers. Plus again a local bartender did not know how to make a Brandy Separator or a Brasilian Caipirinha . So I got a sweet tea. Over all a ok experience. It what I expected from a chain place. Oh one more thing the steak knife excellent well made and hefty. :-) If you like chains this is a good place for you to experience.

I had tilipia, broccoli, & mashed potatoes and everything was cooked fresh, and very delicious this was my first time visiting this location. I was down visiting family and was very please with the service I received.

Perfect piece of rare prime rib, best I've had in a long time. Onion soup is also a favorite and Longhorns is amazing, can't be beat. Sever was Betsy and she was great. I was eating alone which usually makes me very self conscious, but with her smiling face and bubbly personality, I was at ease immediately. I find Longhorns to be consistently excellent.

Thinking this is a steakhouse I figured they would know how to cook burgers, I was wrong. First the burgers were well done not med like we ordered. I mean really. A steak house cant cook a burger! Then there are 4 of us so the manager offered 1 desert for all four of us to make up for the complete screw up. Let's see. 4 people to share 1 small desert. 2 of our party did not even bother eating their burgers. Over cooked, dry and no flavor. Let's just say We won't be back. Food quality 1 star Service 2 stars Atmosphere 3 stars Management 1 star

Visited day after thanksgiving. Ordered Ribeye for myself with bake potato and broccoli. Broccoli not fresh and came out room tempature. Steak was just okay, probably about 1/2 the weight was fat. Wife had ribs and she said good, same problem with broccoli. Son had Chicken fingers, they were fresh and good. Salads fine, beverages fine and ample service for mid range restaurant. Management noticable, offered comp desert due to veggies. Heard this going on quite a bit around us. We call this a maintenance meal. It pretty lived up to exoectations.

I've never had a bad meal or experience here. Every steak was fine and the ribs are good. Easy on the wallet. There are usually specials and on line you can get offers like free dessert.

Normally you would find me behind my own grill but I must say the chef (I was told his name is Jim) knows what he is doing. We had a table of 6 all with different cuts and temps yet all were perfectly fired. I only withheld the 5th star due to the service being a bit slow. We'll be back! Food 5 Service 4 Consistency 5 (3rd visit this year and it stays great)

FIRST! If you have a hostess, make her a friendly one!!! NO personality whatsoever!!! But, ok, we will give it a chance. "Could we please have a table in the back?" Hostess"Would you like to sit here(in the middle of the room) in this booth here??" US"No ma'am, a table, please???" Just couldn't get past the "smell"! Got up and walked out. So, don't know if food was good, but hostess, not so good!!!

For the first 2 years we lived in Fort Myers, this was the restaurant we frequented most often. It's still very good, but we may have worn it out! At Longhorn, the steaks and ribs are great, and they make an above average burger. You can't go wrong with the chipotle ranch dressing on your salads. My one complaint is the bread. Although I do eat it when I'm hungry, it tastes a little bit like a pretzel. What's so hard about providing GOOD bread? All in all, a good place to catch a bite.

A slight step up from Outback Steakhouse. The prices are comparable. Maybe slightly higher, but the quality of the food is proportionate to the increase. The bread is warm and plentiful, and the place is clean. Definitely recommend eating here. Looking forward to our next visit.

I went last night with my mom. Nice service. Nice decor. It has been a long time since I have gone to a longhorn steakhouse and it has a much nicer atmosphere. That all said...it is the steak that matters. I ordered a basic ribeye steak rare. It came out medium. I sent it back and it came back a bit under rare...not worth sending back...but also shows not good quality control. My mom ordered the small filet well done and it came out medium...she did not send it back but only ate half. I had a gift card so I gave longhorn a shot...I would go again..but it would not be my go to place for steak.

Just got home from possibly the WORST meal I've ever had! Definitely the absolute WORST meal from a steakhouse. NO DOUBT! Our meal started out with old/rotten lettuce from our salads. I had to pick out the "brownish" stuff and put it on a napkin. The waitress said to me, " I told them!" As I requested "green" lettuce only. Now to the entrees, we had the sirloins. BAD CHOICE! We ordered cooked to medium and got rare! Had to send them back. It took FOREVER to return. As well as the baked sweet potatoes were CHUNKY & UNDERCOOKED. It took (3) tries and we still got some that were un-eatable. We finally had enough and requested the manager. She then proceed to tell us that the sirloins were basically the way you are going to get them. So, I said it should not be that tough! It wouldn't even cut with the steak knife! Note: I have NOT even mentioned our waitress, as she was no was where to be found. I had to ask the busboy for the manager. She finally came over and address the problem. But, we simply said; "we've been here for an hour and it's time to leave. So, my advice to everyone is simply DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE. The service is crappy and the food is WORST!

Not a great experience this evening. I ordered trout in a steak restaurant and should have known better but I wish they would just take it off of their menu instead of leading us to believe they actually know to prepare it, I am easily fooled. My salad was also wilted and there is no rational for that. All restaurants should know that the greens should be fresh. Anyway my Hubby fared very well and we can't win them all. The stars are for my Hubby's meal, definitely not for mine.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while! We arrived at 5:50 and were quickly seated by an impersonal and uninterested hostess (if we had arrived another half hour later we would have been swamped by herds of snowbirds coming to dinner). The food was okay. My grilled trout was cooked well and the much-advertised 'lobster stuffed filet" was very tender and delicious. The 'stuffing' was a bit salty but tasted good. The bacon macaroni & cheese was also rather salty but was pretty tasty. Our waitress was very nice and executed everything well. Unfortunately, my other guest ordered a 'parmesan crusted' chicken sandwich and said it was terrible. His sandwich, french onion soup and soda set him back $18 (not including tip) and would have only been worth the money had he received a back rub/HJ to go with it. My other complaint is the margaritas were weak and not worth the dough. Times are hard for cripes sake. Hook me up a with a little alcohol in my $9 mixed drink would ya? Overall, food was decent but nothing spectacular, drinks were sub-par and service was decent.

Shouldn't a steakhouse know how to cook steak? My wife and I both ordered our steaks medium-rare. Her's came out so rare I might call it blue and mine was over cooked to more of a medium-well. Not sure what they were doing in the kitchen. On the bright side the cuts of steak were nice and the sides were tasty. Kind of a dingy place and the other reviews don't lie, the hostess seemed fairly uninterested in seating anyone.
